It is meant to be installed with a trem arm spring, to keep it in place, as sometimes it can be screwed in, and have enough play to make noise, and the trem spring is designed to hold it in place

According to 3 days of my own research (and zero help from Fender, by the way...), I determined that this was the correct bridge, because Fender also makes an almost identical trem arm for Vintage Strats, which come with the six point (six - screw) older style bridge, with the rolled steel bridge pieces

Great Fender replacement 10/32 threads, the biggest thing to look for in this stuff is the slightest differences, a 1/16 of an inch means everything, as does metric thread to standard thread
FYI Will not fit a NashProduct was as described, came in authentic Fender packaging with bright white and aged white screw on plastic ends
For those of you confused by which one of these to get, this one fit my 97 American Fender
Hopefully i will soon find the correct fit to my damn Fender
