Reviews around finish (5.00 of 5)

  • The finish is good and parts go together as they are suppose to
  • The quality is excellent, chrome finish, well made, with a pull type lock -- much better than Schaller and Dunlop -- you get a really secure lock by having to pull out to unlock your strap.
  • Nothing to complain about the quality, material, finishing is very good

Reviews around buy (5.00 of 5)

  • Good buy recommend.
  • Good buy recommend.
  • They seem the same but the original schallers that came with my tele deluxe 2008 are bigger and stronger for the lack of a better word, still a good buy

Reviews around price (4.56 of 5)

  • I bought these with the thought that I was getting the usual Fender quality at a great price
  • It was easy to install and the price is cheaper than buying it in a guitar store and you don't even have to go out of your house
  • The strap locks were exactly what I wanted and I got them at a good price
  • Good price on these but upon close inspection not of the same quality as my Schalers in my opinion
  • These strap locks (which were a great price and shipped ridiculously fast) were an absolute breeze to install and they work like a charm

Reviews around value (4.16 of 5)

  • Worked as they should like them better then the dunlop strap locks.
  • 1 out of 6 locks worked the others would not go togather to lock very bad made all the money I paid for these 3 sets was lost as they are no good to use

Reviews around deal (4.16 of 5)

  • Worked as they should like them better then the dunlop strap locks.
  • 1 out of 6 locks worked the others would not go togather to lock very bad made all the money I paid for these 3 sets was lost as they are no good to use
  • Good deal for the price if your willing to possibly need to tinker with it a little.
  • These were a great deal compared to the price of the identical Schaller brand, plus they are fully interchangeable.

Reviews around fender (4.10 of 5)

  • Received genuine Fender parts and fit perfectly right away.
  • Also, these fenders did not not work my Schaller locks at all.
  • I have used most of the other brands of strap locks and have found the Fender locks as good if not better
  • Five minutes spent unscrewing the ones that came on my Flamed Maple Top Fender telecaster and screwing these
  • Packaging said Genuine Fender parts, Made in South Korea.

Reviews around quality (3.91 of 5)

  • Give 3 stars for poor quality control because one lock was defective.
  • Worked as they should like them better then the dunlop strap locks.
  • These are nice quality and work with my original Fender strap lock buttons that came on my American strat, but they are not made in Germany, but rather South Korea
  • The quality is excellent, chrome finish, well made, with a pull type lock -- much better than Schaller and Dunlop -- you get a really secure lock by having to pull out to unlock your strap.
  • I thought something with the Fender name would have better quality control.

Reviews around straplocks (3.91 of 5)

  • I expect them to work as well as the straplocks I received on a used bass I recently purchased allowing sharing of one strap and wireless bodypack.
  • 1 out of 6 locks worked the others would not go togather to lock very bad made all the money I paid for these 3 sets was lost as they are no good to use
  • These straplocks work great and were slightly cheaper than other brands
  • These straplocks we're easy to install and they snap into place easily
  • As of May 14, 2016, Amazon is fulfilling orders with defective Fender Straplocks that won't even fit together

Reviews around lock (3.54 of 5)

  • I'm a Fender fan, have been for a while now but these "locks" are atrocious.
  • It was a breeze mounting the strap lock buttons in place of my original buttons.
  • Great strap locks, would be nicer if threads were taller on the strap piece
  • One of the locks that go on the strap was impossible to unlock, I literally had to force the plunger (if you want to call it that) up to get it off, the other lock works really well
  • Tested by the guitar mags to be the best strap lock available.

Reviews around strap (3.02 of 5)

  • I have no clue how to get this off without sawing the strap nut off the guitar -- WAY BAD.
  • I'd recommend these to anyone that uses a strap and actually likes their guitars
  • Thought these were the ticket for easy, secure strap changes between my basses, but after one failed, I cannot recommend these.
  • On the other hand I do not have to worry about my strap stretching out and falling off
  • Worked as they should like them better then the dunlop strap locks.

Reviews around guitar (2.97 of 5)

  • If you have a nice guitar protect it and get you a set of
  • Awesome, and stops your strap falling off and your expensive guitar hitting the floor
  • and I have a securely locked strap that won't slip off and break a precious guitar
  • If you have a nice Fender guitar and you want to keep it that way.. you better get the fender Straplocks
  • And since the guitar isn't hanging by the hole in the strap the strap lasts years longer.

Reviews around screw (1.95 of 5)

  • The screws will get loose with use, so be sure to check them once in a while and tighten them up so they don't thread out.
  • Easy to installNo hassle: screw included in the kit
  • Once I did that, the screws went in just fine and they felt secure.
  • And reaming out the hole on the strap button to fit the larger screw doesn't work because the #8 screw head interferes with attaching the quick release part
  • On a side note, the screw hole at the bottom of my Strat had worn and the screw was very loose - so I removed the screw, added some wood glue into the hole and broke off two toothpicks in the hole as well - I left it overnight and the next day the screw fit like it was a newly drilled hole - just an FYI in
