Reviews around consistency (5.00 of 5)

  • Jeeezzzz, I love the consistency of these reeds.
  • As a relatively new tenor sax player (2.5 years), I've had difficulties with the playability, as well as consistency of tone production with a number of different brands and stiffness of reeds.

Reviews around fibracell (3.95 of 5)

  • I did find that I do better with a little softer Fibracell than I would use otherwise.
  • I had previously bought a fibracell on Bari and it worked great
  • I have no problem recommending Fibracell

Reviews around cane (3.61 of 5)

  • Ok, so only one in 3 is just right, and each one is somewhat expensive compared to cane, but they LAST FOREVER, respond almost exactly like real cane, and give a tremendous consistency gig to gig.
  • I've tried all of the other synthetics, but none worked as well as cane, except Fibracell.
  • I find them to feel more like cane than any of the other synthetics but good cane is still better
  • If you play a 2.5 or med soft cane, you might need to go to a 2.0

Reviews around rubber (1.00 of 5)

  • I was not sure about what strength reed I should use coming from a #6 hard rubber stock Keilwerth EX90 III Alto which I normally use a #3 reed for
  • I use a hard rubber Meyer mouthpiece #6 medium chamber, medium facing
  • Otto link hard rubber tone edge, and a bari hard rubber.
