Reviews around quality (5.00 of 5)

  • I decided to try using a better quality bow to see whether or not it was just me as a newbie
  • The sound quality I get from my violin has improved greatly
  • It is well balanced, the hair is good quality, and the bow is better than bows I've payed much more for
  • I have spent much time looking for an affordable quality bow and I believe this one is a very reasonable selection for a beginner such as myself
  • I'm a beginner and this bow is helping a lot as it doesn't easily bounce, is light, and the sound quality is much better than the one that came in with the learner's violin.

Reviews around weight (5.00 of 5)

  • But the Fiddlerman bow, even though it costs 8 times less than my Codabow, plays perfectly and the weight and balance are excellent for accurate string crossing
  • My son is an intermediate player, and he has been struggling to produce resonant sound, as the bow has to be perfectly straight and with consistent weight, and it is not as forgiving as his wooden bow.
  • As for the bow it was just the right weight with not a hair out of place and beautifully balanced

Reviews around review (5.00 of 5)

  • The price was fair and the reviews were really positive
  • However, after noticing the many positive reviews of this product I decided to take a chance
  • it has decent reviews but at the end of the day it’s still a cheap bow
  • I cannot add much to all of the stellar reviews of the Fiddlerman bow
  • Well with the stellar reviews I decided I would try this out and have to say, It's a very beautiful bow

Reviews around value (5.00 of 5)

  • I'm truly surprised - the value is far greater than the under 3x price I paid for it, compared to the bows I had
  • I dont believe it is a 5 star bow compared to more high end bows, but for this price it is the best value I have seen
  • I will say it receives my best value award, based on the hair quality and function
  • This must be one of the greatest values of the bows on the market

Reviews around balance (4.10 of 5)

  • It seems very well balanced and the tone also seems better than the basic Cecilio bow I have been using
  • Very flexible balanced and responsive good price for its
  • While it does not really giving the feeling as a wooden bow especially during fast movement, it has good balance and solid grapping of the string.
  • It is well balanced, the hair is good quality, and the bow is better than bows I've payed much more for
  • This bow had a great feel, nice balance and really coaxed a smooth tone from my fiddle, downside..the leather wrap is placed too close to the frog preventing loosening the hair, I re-ordered and 2nd bow was the same, will search for another maker.

Reviews around hair (1.80 of 5)

  • Nice bow, good hairs, good sound.
  • The hair is a fine quality but is more fragile than the cheaper student beginner model that came with my instrument, meaning the hairs will snap much easier.
  • Broke some hairs right away but other than that I’m digging this bow on a budget
  • My husband used the bow to play about 5 times in church to have the hair fall out or break in the middle.havent used it for 3 weeks and the hair split
  • A few hairs fell out initially, but that stopped and the bow is holding up well.
