I decided to try using a better quality bow to see whether or not it was just me as a newbie

The sound quality I get from my violin has improved greatly

It is well balanced, the hair is good quality, and the bow is better than bows I've payed much more for

I have spent much time looking for an affordable quality bow and I believe this one is a very reasonable selection for a beginner such as myself

I'm a beginner and this bow is helping a lot as it doesn't easily bounce, is light, and the sound quality is much better than the one that came in with the learner's violin.

But the Fiddlerman bow, even though it costs 8 times less than my Codabow, plays perfectly and the weight and balance are excellent for accurate string crossing

My son is an intermediate player, and he has been struggling to produce resonant sound, as the bow has to be perfectly straight and with consistent weight, and it is not as forgiving as his wooden bow.

As for the bow it was just the right weight with not a hair out of place and beautifully balanced

The price was fair and the reviews were really positive

However, after noticing the many positive reviews of this product I decided to take a chance

Well with the stellar reviews I decided I would try this out and have to say, It's a very beautiful bow

I'm truly surprised - the value is far greater than the under 3x price I paid for it, compared to the bows I had

I dont believe it is a 5 star bow compared to more high end bows, but for this price it is the best value I have seen

I will say it receives my best value award, based on the hair quality and function

This must be one of the greatest values of the bows on the market

This bow had a great feel, nice balance and really coaxed a smooth tone from my fiddle, downside..the leather wrap is placed too close to the frog preventing loosening the hair, I re-ordered and 2nd bow was the same, will search for another maker.

The hair is a fine quality but is more fragile than the cheaper student beginner model that came with my instrument, meaning the hairs will snap much easier.
