Final Fantasy Anthology - PlayStation
Product Description
Final Fantasy Anthology incorporates two of the most beloved FINAL FANTASY titles ever published. First released as FINAL FANTASY III in the U.S., FINAL FANTASY VI brings back all of the qualities that made it the best selling RPG...
Great story, characters that make you feel like you know them personally, and just a fun game all the way through.
Its a game which includes great characters and an even greater story
Great purchase, worth it to play a game that's not all about crazy next gen graphics and over the top quick time events, just a fun game with great characters, story and atmosphere.
Now FF6 however is one of my all time favorites #1 or #2 and if you thought that FF5 had a great story and characters well FF6 takes that to new heights with some of my fav characters in the series
Nevertheless, its still one of the greatest stories ever told in any RPG, and the villain of this game, Kefka deserves a special mention for being the most lunatic villain in any RPG, surpassing even Albedo from Xenosaga at least in that regard
Love the characters the gameplay is easy to follow and the storyline grabs you
Great game, the graphics are good, the music too, and the gameplay is awesome, i recommend to everybody, buy this game !!!
The gameplay is pretty traditional fanfare as most of the classical rpgs from this era, you get the typical Active time based combat system, but if you played this game before I really don’t have to go into it that much
While complaints that the story is transparent and childish do not go unfounded, the gameplay itself is entertaining enough to make up for that

In what can be considered composer Nobuo Uematsu's best work of all time, each and every track of the game is a classic, delivering the best of what the system is capable of producing, everyone will tell you this games music sound tracks just ROCK!
and I've been enjoying the lighthearted adventure and robust job system

and I've been enjoying the lighthearted adventure and robust job system
final fantasy 5 and 6 cool games and in is good and good and good and jobs is a good
Unlike ff4, in which every character started as a specific pre chosen class, each characters class (or as this game calls it..a job) is chosen by you, and the character learns different techniques depending on what job they are working on

The story is well developed and the characters well defined.

Showcasing two installments of SquareSoft's wildly popular role-playing game (RPG) series, Final Fantasy Anthology features the U.S
debut of Final Fantasy V, and reintroduces one of the best RPGs of all time, Final Fantasy VI, originally released as Final Fantasy III on the Super Nintendo gaming system
Both games are straight Super Nintendo conversions, so their 2-D graphics and 16-bit sounds are admittedly subpar by PlayStation standards
However, SquareSoft has added brand-new, beautifully animated movies for both titles, and has given Final Fantasy VI the star treatment it deserves by adding a bonus mode where gamers can access loads of supplementary material, such as artwork and data files on the game's monsters and items
While Final Fantasy V is one of weaker entries in the series, Final Fantasy VI alone is totally worth the price of Final Fantasy Anthology
Endearingly melodramatic characters, a genuinely epic story line, and rock-solid gameplay make Final Fantasy VI just as absorbing today as it was when it was Final Fantasy III
--Joe Hon Pros: Brand-new animated movies Reissues Final Fantasy VI, one of the best RPGs ever Lots of supplementary material for Final Fantasy VI Cons: Dated graphics and sounds may bother some gamers The previously unreleased Final Fantasy V may as well have stayed unreleased
