I am past my replacement date through Amazon, but I am guaranteed a one year warranty on parts and labor through a company in Seattle.

If you do, please buy the warranty protection and if you can't afford the warranty just don't buy the tablet

Amazon said our “warranty” was expired and said they couldn’t replace or repair it

Just after the warranty expired the stupid thing stopped charging.

Sadly the "warranty" expired after 2 months and there is nowhere that I can find that indicates how it can be returned for replacement

The limited warranty is only 12 months, and my tablet is effectively a brick now.

Luckily, getting Google services and Play Store is a 5-minute process *without rooting the device* or otherwise violating your warranty

It is pretty easy to operate, however a bit more limited and restrictive as it is tied to the Amazon App store.

the battery did not last 60 days, so disappointed as I have low vision and bought for the ereader b/c of the larger screen

If this one fails, I'll replace it, and keep on doing so as long as it's free, but I wouldn't buy this model again.
