Love the size, when the cap it on this pen is super small and sleek
Its smooth but tough surface and its compact size when capped practically invite its being carried in pockets and purses so one is never without a really nice pen.
Their convenient compact carry size also allows them to slip from my pocket unnoticed.
The perfect size to carry in my wallet, and having a pen handy at all times has become something I don't know how I lived without for so long
As others have said, easy to lose because of the compact size
It is by far one of my favorite possessions and the best pen I have ever used
Seriously the best pens I have ever used and the bullet design that fits easily into your front pocket feels so completely unobtrusive you may be forgiven to forget it was even there
But after some pretty good use it's started to come apart
It took me far too long to find a pen company that still makes their products in America, and as a college student going into law, I want to make sure I am writing with a quality piece as well as using something that is made in the best country on Earth.
You have to hold this at 60 to 90 degree to produce decent lines otherwise the tips starts scratching the
Users should know that the grip area is smooth not line grooved like the chrome
Also, Fischer offers a great line-up of different color inks and different sized points
When I need it, whether it's raining, snowing, or upside down, it lays down a nice black line.
Biggest problem is when you try and write with this pen with enough force to form solid lines, your hand ends up sliding down the sides of the pen because of how smooth they are!All in all it is a neat pen that seems solid as a rock, and I guess it's functional...?
Love the pen, not a fan of how it writes, majorly regret the brass choice and how it patinas
Three, it is made of SOLID raw brass that will develop a nice patina
The raw brass develops a great patina and I love holding it.
My bad for not carefully reading the details about the Raw Brass finish: "Over time each pen will develop a unique patina as it responds to the environment, owner's body chemistry, and the way he or she handles their pen
The Raw Brass is perfect for a pen and it acquires a dark patina just like a spent round does
The raw brass look is both very classy and classic looking
I like the look of tarnished brass, which is why I chose this finish.
It's my go-to pen for taking notes at work as it has an elegant look to it.
I honestly love the look and feel of this pen, but the o ring seems like it may wear down, and the brass coating looks to be pretty thin, so we'll see how it turns out!Writes decently as well, it's definitely a good feeling pen overall.
I also enjoy the "vintage" look that takes over the pen after about a week of use, as the raw brass finish ages quite nicely
The ink is still great and the feel of the pen is awesome, but I've had two of these fall apart in a short period of time.
After 2 months, this little pen has become my daily carry pen.-because of the encapsulated design, there is little chance of it leaking on my clothes.-when stowed, it will fit ~sideways~ into the breast pocket of a dress shirt and keep my from looking like a Poindexter, or an accountant, or an accountant named Poindexter.-You get 2 pens in one as you can let it tarnish, or keep it polished to a mirror finish.-I think that a finer point refill will solve my issue of poor ink delivery
nice brassCONS:~ gets slippery in hand~ doesn't write smooth - ink quality of normal bic pen
Best travel pens as they are small and have great ink and writing feel
One issue is that the ink can sometimes be very inconsistent, and also the pen comes apart very easily
