I was hoping to use these for my wedding invitations and was disappointed I couldn’t get a single nice edge

There are not good edges to square up your paper on so you have to check the underside to make sure you are punching straight

This was a great concept that someone forgot to test-drive

BTW, Amazon should have negative and zero star options so that consumers can get a true fair warning

I bought this to use to DIY my wedding invitation corners to fancy them up a bit

I have to do it over the table and standing… but great cut and much more than I was expecting for the price

The paper edges easily slide past the guide bars which makes the cut come out crooked so it takes a lot of time to line up and check and hold firmly as you turn it over to press down

But with the Sea Pearls punch I consistently have issues with getting it lined up to get the right cut

it works ok cutting through the text weight paper but messed up a bunch of corners since it was impossible to see where the paper was unless it was turned upside down

love the initial punches but having lots of trouble pressing down and getting a clear clean cut on some of them, but will not purchase again

It is a bit harder to punch than I'd hoped but the final product looks great!

Despite the frustrations, I think the final products were worth it.

Nice little product to fancy up cards, paper or thin plastic laminated pics, etc.

But it's still a great tool because the more expensive ones are out of my range

I purchased this from Michaels at 40% off, and thought I was getting a great deal...only to find after numerous test punches that the design of this product is pretty lousy.

Very disappointed because the designs would have been lovely.

When it works, the design is nice, so I still give it two stars

For me, my hand was feeling bruised after 100 or so punches on standard card stock (maybe this isn't the typical use-case?)

I got the use out of them for my wedding invites, but my hands hurt something awful after hole punching 120 invitations on all four corners

Then repeat for all 4 corners, and all 200 pages....be prepared to have sore hands and even a muscle man to hand to use this

If you don't cover the punch with something you will hurt your hand

You can't simply punch one handed but must have your center weight over top the puncher and push down with the palm of your hand

I really like this punch, it's much better than their rounded corner punch.

I wish it had a hinge/lever press to make it easier, I definitely wouldn't mind paying more for them as I really like the lace corner punches

Requires a lot of pressure to use and it's easy to misalign the paper.

This isn't worth it if you're looking to punch thicker papers

Great for my wedding invitations, but difficult if your using hard paper.

you end up with a messed up corner, completely wasting your paper

Learning curve on lining up paper but easy once I got the hang of it.
