The sound effects in the game are fantastic as well, with some audio cues lifted straight from the Yakuza games
Sound effects were quite nice and all of seiyuu (I played with Japanese audio) were as brilliant as always, I'm kind of sad that some of them got such bad roles in this game

It’s silly, serious, bombastic as always, over-the-top, and just plain fun
The blend of great combat, solid crime drama intrigue, countless minigames, and a certain amount of zaniness all play really nicely with the action RPG/brawler format, and that causes me to sink about 60 hours into each
Wait until it goes on sale for 10-20$, play some of the mini-games, enjoy the combat and forget it ever existed
They've put a lot of effort into this part and the combat is just brilliant

- I forget the name!), while others are somehow even more corny (Dr. Kenshiro, Manager Ken) - all of them would never happen in the true world of FotNS and just feel way over the top and unreal in this universe.
Unlike the Yakuza series, Kenshiro will find himself fighting a huge amount of opponents frequently, and Lost Paradise provides a quick and easy way to dispatch opponents
As a big fan of the manga/anime series this game has been a fun way to relive it all in an alternate re-telling as well as being able to play as Kenshiro

Apart from combat, the gameplay fails
The gameplay itself is pretty good
I love the game, great gameplay, story, and an excellent English voice cast.
Yakuza Kiwami is the only Yakuza game I've ever played but this game feels almost exactly like it as far as gameplay and existing in a semi-open world/city with various quests and mini games thrown in.
Though most of the veteran developers at Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have moved onto a new engine for their newer games, the fledgling team responsible for Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise managed to make a great looking game
Lost Paradise felt like a perfect fit for the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio to develop

But Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise is not that game and, instead, feels like a game that has tons of truly missed opportunities, ones that not a lot of developers get often.
