First, the battery is awful.

I do not use it a lot for the special qualities, like the calming section, so I don't think it has any reason to lose so much battery all the time.2

Battery died twice

Do not buy this..... it has been just over a year and now the battery is totally dead and will not recharge.

Also the whole concept of keeping it connected to your phone means you’ll be using Bluetooth all the time which killed my battery, and then of course there’s the inherent security risk of keeping your Bluetooth radio active.

Battery seems to die a little quicker than other Fitbits I've owned, but other than that have not had the issues I experienced with the Surge.

My HR sensor has sense broken and drains the battery constantly to about 10 hours of use

For info, the Heart rate monitor has been set to auto and is therefore not constantly draining the battery.

I do not keep the Bluetooth on nor the all day sync as this burns the battery even faster
