Five Star Flex Hybrid NoteBinder, 1 Inch Binder, Notebook and Binder All-in-One, Red (72005)
Color:02 Red
LASTS ALL YEAR. GUARANTEED!* RINGS WON’T BREAK GUARANTEED!* The Five Star Flex patented TechLock rings will not break or misalign. It acts like a notebook and works like a binder. Fold the cover over and it lays flat for easy notetakin...
It also has nice 5 plastic pocket dividers 2 of those are the thicker notepocket kind that have a pocket in front and 3 are the traditional note protector kind that you can slip a page in them
If you are only using this binder for the enclosed pocket dividers it works fine.
The first two dividers have nice pockets and even a corner piece that will allow your papers to lie flat while in the pocket
I also love the sturdy plastic subject dividers, and the handy little pockets built into the divider.
The clear pocket also has a flap to secure the contents
So you get the binder, dividers (which are really nice) with pockets, notebook paper and graph paper...not bad for about $12!
I also love the sturdy plastic subject dividers, and the handy little pockets built into the divider.
It lets you give some organization to your files, and I love the plastic dividers with pockets so I can put loose papers in them.
I also love the clear "NoteProtector" dividers that I can put my current reading plan into, and the binder even allows you to put one on the outside of the cover for even quicker access to information
I wish they had moved the connection point more toward the middle like a regular binder (round one) or toward the top (D-ring).
One semester of 7th grade complete, and I seriously love this thing!
I have always needed a product like this to keep my things nice and tidy
I love this thing, I've seriously been using it for years
love these things, durable, reusable, takes up less space.it might be a pain to have to undo each ring on its own, but I find I dont have to much, there are other ways to store handouts.
The folders to hold papers is really nice and makes it nice to keep things together safe and organized.
Love these flex notebooks great for Math notes especially when you have to graph and can't use line paper this flips over just like a notebook it is truly the best notebook ever.
I hate the spiral bound notebooks because it is loud when you tear a page out but these are perfect.
This hybrid notebook is useful in keeping things organized
I have found the PERFECT notebook for keeping my kid's school work organized
(Like a notebook), yet the cover is still durable and stiff enough to act as a binder
I wish they had moved the connection point more toward the middle like a regular binder (round one) or toward the top (D-ring).
It's the same function has the plastic rings, but the huge difference is that the metal binder rings have NO GAPS.Hopefully the Five Star team will hear out the customers and improve the design of it because it'd kill the whole binder market competition if only it wasn't for the stupid plastic rings.

Interesting design, looks like it'll last me quite some time
There's a flexible plastic flap on the top of each divider so you can secure the top of any papers you put in the divider's pocket, which is a downright ingenious design choice that we've needed for a long time.(2
But other than those two minor things that the NoteBinder is perfect.
love these flex notebinder, had a few in the past, sturdy, durable
But even though I totally love this NoteBinder, it does have a few flaws.
One can completely fold the NoteBinder so that it lies flat on either side, which means one can take notes on both sides of the page, and that the entire notebook doesn't have to be wide open.2
Love the notebinder so much but it doesn't come in the purple like i expected it to
each ring individually to add/remove papersIncluded folders have 2 pretty cool, durable folders, and 3 not-so-good flimsy folders
Be nice to have all 5 the durable typeI got used to the whole having to unhinge each ring thing fairly quickly, and since you can put hand-outs right in with your notes, the flimsy folders aren't the hugest deal
The pocket folders in the front look like they could hold a semester's worth of work, while the back "folders" function more like paper protectors
I liked the extra notecard folders, and the small pile of graph paper behind all the notebook paper made me happier than I should have been
2 days later at school the ring and the folders broke and ripped
You must be careful when using them not to overload them, because the 'rings' are a soft plastic with a pointed connector
We bought it and waited for it to arrive, in the moment it arrived my daughter was already disappointed, the cover is cheap plastic and the binder itself is way too flexible so it doesn't gives much security for her

The rings on the binder are a flexible plastic that are not brittle and can be easily manipulated into anything that I wanted to put in the binder
It's the same function has the plastic rings, but the huge difference is that the metal binder rings have NO GAPS.Hopefully the Five Star team will hear out the customers and improve the design of it because it'd kill the whole binder market competition if only it wasn't for the stupid plastic rings.
The reason this binder works so well is that the cover flips completely around (like a portfolio) and lies flat so he can take his notes RIGHT IN THE NOTEBOOK on EITHER SIDE without removing the paper
The cover is a little flimsy but other than that the notebinder seems functional
It's nice to be able to flip the cover all the way around like a spiral notebook, especially being left handed
My only complaint is that Amazon sent it in a box with other loose items- pages were bent and cover was scratched
(Like a notebook), yet the cover is still durable and stiff enough to act as a binder
bought it for school fits nicely in my backpack that is so thin.it has some nice dividers and paper
Disappointingly enough, the binder came with regular loose leaf paper that was not the variety with plastic reinforced holes
LOVE, Love, LOVE, Love, LOVE!This is the best of notebooks and best of loose-leaf paper.
I would definitely recommend the loose paper that has plastic protective strip around the holes of the paper as turning and flipping through can make the pages rip.
It lets you give some organization to your files, and I love the plastic dividers with pockets so I can put loose papers in them.
The pages on this notebinder are not as hard to turn as I thought, but it is alittle harder than a regular binder.
It's the size of a notebook without the awkward tilt/slant of a binder but removing pages doesn't leave paper scraps everywhere and you can put the papers back afterwards
The other 3 dividers offer full page protective pockets that are easy to open and slide paper inside, then a small flap holds it together
so I was looking for a binder that I could my manuscript drafts in as well as put pages of notes in
Plus, the rubbery texture causes the papers to grip the rings, making it difficult to turn to a certain place in the binder without ripping a few pages out in the process
Interesting design, looks like it'll last me quite some time
I would recommend this product to all students, but especially to those that have a hard time staying organized.
One unfortunate time, two of the rings actually opened up and the papers fell out
(i'm not very patient) and each time I do, one wrong move and all my papers will come loose
so we had ot buy a normal binder paper with 4 holes and do the holes by ourselves because the papers are cheap but the sipping is 5/6 times the price of the sheets so it's not affordable

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is every year at least 1 ring breaks
I love the plastic rings , every binder I ever had , the metal rings broke
It won't open the rings, but it does mean turning pages isn't quite as smooth as with a standard three-ring binder
No need to worry about binder rings breaking or not being able to squish my "reading material" into the seat pocket in front of me at the last minute, since the binder rings themselves are flexible, and they stay closed, even under duress
I love the way this is set up, however, after one week the three hole punched folder pages ripped out
(In my case, my three-hold punch makes very small holes, so I had to punch them several times to get enough flexibility in the paper so it didn't pull the
i print my chemistry slides into 6 slides/page, hole-punch them and take notes on the slides and on the lined paper. awesome!
The rings always have a small, 1 millimetre gap between them which causes the holes on papers to get ripped open
You've got the flexibility and simplicity of a three-ring binder: Paper choices, ease of using a standard hole punch to put anything in it, simple archiving into standard three-ring binders, and lots of accessories if you're that type
