  • I love the way it's presented, how nuances are explained, and tons of practice lessons that gradually build on everything you've learned
  • I've been taking individual classes and Fluenz has been a much more efficient way of learning German (still frustrating, but more efficient).
  • Each lesson increases the student's confidence, and vocabulary is built in a progressive way (and one that makes sense)
  • Its hard to imaging a better way to learn a language besides growing up in it
  • As with all language training, it requires persistence and regularity, but this is encouraging and rewarding in an entertaining way.

Reviews around german (5.00 of 5)

  • I wanted to refresh my German and pick up more vocabulary
  • I strongly recommend Fluenz German, and will probably give Fluenz Italian a try as well.
  • My wife speaks fluent German but has not had the opportunity in years so discs 3-5 have allowed here to update her vocabulary with current usage.
  • In the case of the German instructor, she butchers some English words as well as she clearly reads off cue-cards
  • and I hoped to improve my German before my next trip to Germany

Reviews around fluenz (5.00 of 5)

  • Cant say enough about how much we love Fluenz, my 14 year old is learning German and doing amazing (I know because my wife is fluent, but leaving all the teaching up to Fluenz).
  • (one was a personal teacher with a major company) in the interim and they were not nearly as good a Fluenz.

Reviews around foundation (5.00 of 5)

  • Things become second nature to you once you build a solid foundation.
  • actually fun to learn, while providing you with a solid foundation on how the language is used properly
  • But I do feel Fluenz has given me a fabulous foundation to keep learning
  • Fluenz gives you a great foundation to build upon because you understand the grammar meaning they teach you how to fish.
  • What Fluenz does do, though, is give you a very solid foundation to build upon.

Reviews around tool (5.00 of 5)

  • This is the most effective self-learning tool that I have used -- and, over the years, I have tried different forms of Rosetta Stone, Berlitz, Tansparent Language, Living Language etc
  • Rosetta Stone is more widely known but Fluenz is interactive and a great learning tool
  • Fluenz is a great tool to jumpstart your progress but the rest is on you.

Reviews around fact (5.00 of 5)

  • I love the fact you can turn on subtitles- in your choice of language- to go along with the dialog.
  • In the case of the German instructor, she butchers some English words as well as she clearly reads off cue-cards
  • And speaking of Sonia, I love the fact that she is with me every step of the way.

Reviews around method (5.00 of 5)

  • It uses a pedagogic strategy of learning by repetition, that is, of getting the lingüistic patterns without explicit teaching, whic, I think, is the best method.
  • I tried both of the demos, and I love the method better with Fluenz
  • The Fluenz method is fabulous for learning as you learn around a theme and variations on the them.

Reviews around choice (5.00 of 5)

  • Excellent choice!
  • Plus, with Rosetta Stone, I was able to understand that "trinken" means "to drink", but with Fluenz, I can say, "Ich möchten trinken."For someone who wants to be immersed in the culture and language and living in the USA, Fluenz seems to be a better choice
  • Compared to the other choices/programs out there I think this was the best option and I am confident I made the right choice for me.

Reviews around language (3.86 of 5)

  • It makes it seem like you could learn a really difficult language and actually have fun doing it
  • German is a difficult language, but it is also so rich, logical and precise
  • In the case of the German instructor, she butchers some English words as well as she clearly reads off cue-cards
  • I decided on German because I felt like it was a thriving language that I could bring into my workplace
  • so why not, right?Fluenz German makes learning this tough language less intimidating.

Reviews around software (3.86 of 5)

  • In the case of the German instructor, she butchers some English words as well as she clearly reads off cue-cards
  • As "software" this product is pretty bad
  • Fluez German offers the best software for learning German grammar.
  • However, this shortcoming in Fluenz is minor and the software is still worthy of a 5-star rating
  • Fluenz German is the best computer software for learning German.

Reviews around product (3.47 of 5)

  • They are both excellent products, but I have found that Fluenz is definitely the more usable of the two
  • I was able to obtain Pimsleur German I, II, and III from my local library so that component was free and definitely the best product for learning how to speak and understand speech.
  • As "software" this product is pretty bad
  • But I put 5 stars to support them to make cheaper products that everyone interested in german will buy
  • I first purchased the first two levels of this program and am now kicking myself that I didn't spring for all five levels at once, as the product is expensive

Reviews around work (3.09 of 5)

  • But with a little hard work comes great rewards.
  • If I can get to the level of fluency that I am at now, I know that anyone can with a little hard work.
  • But with a little hard work comes great rewards.
  • And I also suspect that it gives you a sufficient working knowledge of German to get by very well as a tourist in German-speaking countries.
  • I love working on the lessons, and my German is improving by leaps and bounds.
