I had the Scarlett solo before but upgraded to this as I needed two mic inputs for acoustic recordings along with singing, both are really nice and good quality builds with good interfaces

The hardware gain and headphone volume knobs don't generate a lot of volume (weak built-in headphone amp), but you can adjust the instrument volume and accompanying track volume in your DAW software to bring the volume up more effectively.
