I'm feeding this with an Orange Tube amp and Two Notes Torpedo Captor; awesome sound!

Not only was it NOT fixed the sound was louder and now just touching it caused it to skip like there was an issue with the power cable or the jack itself.*I also apparently cannot return it and cannot afford to keep shipping it

Started out okay where I'd half to replug it every few hours because input and output sound would become distorted

The Focusrite Scarlett is a nice, simple and clean-sounding USB mic interface and I recommend it, as an old standby that's been lightly updated to stay technologically current

I waited as long as possible to make the review for this to give them a chance to earn a 4-5 star.*It worked great for almost one week, then a loud droning sound started up and I spend hours upon hours trying to trouble shoot.*I was given another cable and even bought two more to no avail.*I borrowed another computer to test it on to find the same issues.

But this interface don't work correctly with active pickups, for some reason the sound is weak and to fix this problem I had to buy a DI Box.

I don't have a huge budget and I've gotten good sound from my setup with an Audio Technica 2035 and a $15 cable.

I followed all the directions on the box and on their website and got this awful crackling sound

There aren't a lot of options for mic preamps at this price point, it's nice that this one sounds so good and works without hassle

The first few months with this were good, no issues setting it up, but after that I kept getting people telling me they hear fuzzing sounds through my mic and my voice sounding robot like, which was fixes with plugging it out and back in, but then it completely wouldn't turn on

Not exactly good when all of a sudden in the middle of the night the speakers in the kids' room start suddenly emitting a super loud high pitched sound when the driver decides to crash.

Every once in a while, the sound on my system seems to "glitch out" or act strange when I have a lot of Internet Explorer tabs open, something I really didn't experience before

The preamp is really good very natural sounding, build quality rock solid kinda wish they continue with making all the knobs metal but not a big deal

It wasn't until a month or so ago that the microphone quality started to crack and pop sounding horrible

As you can tell it is super versatile, taking in either two mics (with great sounding mic preamps I might add), or plugging in directly with a guitar (The unit will take XLR or ¼“ instrument cables).
