Love the actual unit so far
-
This is a good little unit and everything i ever wanted to speak audio online
-
The unit is very sturdy, and looks good as others have noted, but who cares about that, the sound and ease of use for Mac is all I care about
-
I spent a few days testing other devices without ever experiencing the crackling and popping I experienced with the Focusrite, and sadly concluded I had received a defective unit
-
An excellent value for the price, and I cannot recommend this unit enough.
-
The unit adds support for 176.4kHz and 192kHz sample rates, lower latency, additional of dynamic headroom on the microphone and instrument/line inputs, revamped gain curves and input/output circuit protection
-
Audio quality is great, unit never gets hot, and you can plug in and out and as needed to add to your mix.
-
This unit would be great for podcasters, solo recording, or as I do, just as a high quality audio interface for general use
-
Nonetheless, great unit for this price range
-
Focusrite units are not compatible with each other
-
you are a musician interested on creating a home recording studio that is very "portable" I highly recommend this unit!!!

-
It's just not a reliable unit for a dedicated
-
Focusrite, how did you ship this out with this huge usability flaw, what's the point of a monitor jack with a huge volume knob if you can barely hear anything out of it?Other than that issue, the unit worked as expected
-
Maybe I just got a bad unit
-
I think that they are both very attractive units, and I like the compact nature of the Solo
-
but it is a great unit.
-
This unit works perfect on windows 10.Downloaded the asio USB file from the focusrite web page and installed it
-
The unit supplies phantom to the XLR part of each combination jack as well
-
Some of the slide switches seem a bit more delicate than they need to be, but, overall, it's a sturdy unit
-
A friend of mine who knows everything about guitars and audio equipment recommended this unit to me
-
UPDATE: I've downgraded this to one star because Focusrite units are not compatible with each other
-
After a week of trying multiple versions of drivers, countless system reboots I was told to return unit as defective
-
The unit supplies phantom to the XLR part of each combination jack as well
-
The unit works perfectly and the sound is incredible
-
All in all a good unit, but is going to frustrate the heck out of anyone living anywhere cold who doesn't think to cover it with tape.
-
The unit was delivered with NO Bundle code and unfortunately unusable to me
-
So my defective unit was able to be replaced by the amazing customer support since it was still within warranty
-
This unit has not worked properly since day one
-
Aside all that the unit works fine w/ Audacity and the rest of the bundled software works fine AND supposedly when a WIN10 compatible version comes out it will be available free under purchase
-
I love this unit.
-
Its a good unit, solid and well made
-
Great unit
-
Great little unit for my purposes.
-
This is an excellent unit for the money.
-
The unit I received doesn't even work
-
New unit worked flawlessly, UNTIL I started downloading the bundled software
-
This unit is awesome
-
A great little unit.
-
Sure... you can buy more expensive units that have more bells & whistles.
-
okay so, as I said these units are amazing when working
-
Totally clean and quiet I/O. Plus, I love the look of the box
