The only thing missing is the Human detector, which I have only found on the R2v3, and I LOVE that feature and wish it was on all of the foscam cameras.

The audio capability makes this one more useful and you can use it as a webcams along with other amazing features

and I have to say that the R2 & R4 have been the easiest to install, they are packed with cool features and have excellent picture quality, and you have the peace of mind that if you have any tec queries the guys at Foscam are there to help, recently had a reason to contact them and Stephen was very helpful.

Comes with all the same great features of the R2

Received email today saying that feature is not available in my country, the US, due to Foscam server hardware?!?

It looks great at night, and the talk back feature is pretty great

Night time viewing is also quite good, and the onboard LED infrared illumination lights adjust to reflected brightness which is something new and a great feature

All the features work great and a good price too.

This feature is so easy to fix, it makes no sense why this is not available other than profit reasons

Lots of great features like pan, auto pan (cruise option), tilt, zoom, schedules, firmware update which all can be done through the app itself

Everything works exactly as it should.
