The different tones were great and the wireless read range was great, but it did not last longer than a hour.

And FYI: there's about 8-10 quick, "ding ding" business-appropriate tones to choose from, along with tons of long, useless ones

And it does have 52 different tones and volume is adjustable as advertised

This replacement is so much better because of the adjustable volumes and tones.

Works very well, able to change volume of tones and there are multiple tones to choose from, many seasonal ones as well.

Haven't seen others with this issue, so perhaps I just got a bad unit

Unit stopped working after a few months and the best their customer service could tell me to do was to reset it

Our door is a metal door so we couldn't drill anything into it so the sticky pads worked perfect and have held very well

This one chimes 95% of the time and has only had a few "false" chimes - where it chimes, but the door didn't move.

It seems like this product has a hard time transmitting through walls

The magnetic sensors worked the whole time, the blue light still goes on when the magnets are separated

We put the plug in portion in our back office (which is close by but separated by a wall) so we do not have to keep someone at the front desk during the very slow times.

We bought another brand one from local hardware store, it had the different/expensive battery, the small 12V one, and it would go through a battery a month

There are various sounds to choose from, although some are a bit more obnoxious than others

My only issue was that the sound was a bit loud, even at the lowest setting

The only issue I have is that, choosing and pairing a sound is a bit tricky
