I also ordered and tried out one of Fintie's Milanese loop adjustable magnet-closure smart watch bands (Gear S3 Frontier / Classic Watch Band, Fintie 22mm Milanese Loop Adjustable Stainless Steel Replacement Strap Bands for Samsung Gear S3 Classic / S3 Frontier Smart Watch - Rose Gold) which did NOT fit properly

That left it with the ends sticking straight out from the sides of the watch case, fixed in place as the ends would be if you were to open the band up completely and lay your watch flat against a surface
