I love quality sound and other features of this speaker
This is a nice speaker and has nice features compared with the general competition.
The Fugoo sounds much better and the added resistance to water is a great feature.
I can enjoy a good level of volume with an incredible quality sound which is very nice; the clearness on the audio is a very good feature and combined with the absurd duration of battery, make the Fugoo speaker a great buy!
While the bass and overall sound quality is slightly better with the Bose, the battery drains as you let it sit!
Even at full volume, the speaker never feels overdriven, doesn't snap/crackle and the bass doesn't fizzle and distort
The bass will make my desk/shelf vibrate (albeit minor) when I turn the volume all the way up, but the highs and mids are really where this speaker shines
Nice sturdy speaker, good sound, bass is very good, good battery life
It had to have great sound with good bass (no portable speaker will give great bass)
, it sounds awful the volume is barely louder than my ayfee cheapo bluetooth speaker and sounds half as good, the bass is weak and the speaker distorts badly
It starts with an annoying American voice prompt, but you can change it to an Australian woman that doesn't sound too bad (or turn it off completely)
It comes standard with a hugely annoying "voice prompt", the use of which has led me to completely disqualify any speaker I have ever tested, no matter how superb the sound
Cool sounds and pre-recorded voice lets you know when it's on, paired, turning off, battery level, etc
It's great, but the voice to turn on and off and connect is pretty annoying and loud
It also has a very pleasant voice which tells you when the speaker turns on, is connected and when the battery is low
On occasion I would have to blow the water out of it, because it wasn't as loud and crisp as it had been after getting wet.
And just b/c the volume may be louder on other speakers, doesn't mean it's quality volume.
The packaging is very attractively laid out, with the charger, data cable, and auxiliary cord neatly wound up and wrapped in a clear strip of protective plastic.
I went with fugoo because I was looking for something that had good sound that I good take out on the beach when I went on vacation
The jackets have a flimsy plastic tab that is meant keep the speaker core fixed in place
One would expect a speaker, that is designed as well as it is claimed to be, to last longer than 1.5 years
Sound quality in specific conditions on a hard surface in a small room is good, however this unit has no usable volume, and bass or any lower frequencies are non existent
While the bass and overall sound quality is slightly better with the Bose, the battery drains as you let it sit!
Ive recommended it to many of my friends as, having owned other small speakers in the past that we at best a bit functional, this speaker with its voice instructions,is truly very special
There is a big bass hump between 60 to 90Hz so R&B, dance and similar music sound good but not natural on it
Speaker is fairly loud, but not as loud as the ue boom or bose sound link 2.0, but I think it has a better sound
It does not sound as good as the UE Boom and questionable if it sounds better than my girlfriend's Boom mini
After the Fugoo failed so miserably at meeting my expectations, I purchased the UE Boom.
Disappointed in sound quality, I purchased a UE Boom to compare and it won on sound hands down, in volume and quality (I found the fugoo a bit tinny and lacking bass)

The speaker sounds very good too with very little distortion at the highest volume on loud mode
The sound quality is great, in normal mode or in loud mode.
Then after i read you can do a firmware update to get the "LOUD" mode
Also, updating the speaker's firmware can unlock a "loud" mode that increases the available volume significantly (as well as allows other customization settings).2
even in loud mode, the volume levels are not what I was hoping for
