I love Fuji colors and build, but this one should have had Flip screen, Swipe commands on touch screen are a pain as they do not always work first swipe
The camera seems to have a warmer color cast and the exposure seems a bit different.
I would take XE3 video over slog any day as I find the colors and highlight/shadow curves perfectly suitable for editing SOOC
Granted, much of that could be the lens, and the A7 is probably near the end of its product cycle, but the Zeiss is certainly no slouch and the fact that we can even compare results from a full frame sensor and an APS-C is really quite incredible
It produces great image quality and the Fuji JPEG colors are
The image quality is superb and sometimes I think I like my images more from this camera than my X-T2
I bought the 35mm f2 originally and changed it out for the 27mm - the whole point was to have something as small as the X100s that is really portable with great image quality
It is more versatile and is also constructed with high quality materials and produces good images
Amazing camera with great image quality, sell my Canon gear and transfer to Fujifilm.
And yet the X-E3 somehow works relatively quickly in the same operations
The X-E3 uses an off-set viewfinder, like a baby X-Pro and the X-T20 is essentially a baby X-T2.The harsh truth is, if you have even slightly larger than normal hands you WILL inadvertently push the Q button at precisely the wrong time at some point

I thought the hybrid finder was really neat when I first used it but gradually ended up using the EVF all exclusively so as great as the X-

I love the small and sleek look of this camera, while it still has some weight (with the lens) giving you a feeling of good sturdy high quality product...if you attach a pancake lens (like the 27mm F2.8), you will have very small package, close to the 100F.Picture quality through the kit zoom lens is amazing

When using the camera in manual mode I manage to take and record better videos.
I use this for both photography and video, and even the video is excellent
To do so you can set the film simulation mode (ACROS, Monochrom, etc., perhaps a bit of a misnomer because it can be applied to stills as well as video), which can be configured to render a beautiful black and white jpeg still photo while maintaining red focus peaking in live view

Tiltable screen isnt available on the X-E3 but thats something I can live with
Fuji didn't do a fully articulating screen on their X-H1.
If the next Fuji camera after the X-H1 has IBIS and a fully articulating screen, they've got me.
I've gotten used to the fully articulating screen of the other mirrorless cameras I've used from Olympus & Panasonic.
Having range finder style is way to go, if you are right eye dominant (most people), as your nose wont hit the screen and the EVF sensor will work perfectly.,And then there is the joystick for focusing points, which is soooo much better than the D-PAD on most of the other Fujis
For the short time this camera worked it was very very good (using the included 23 mm F/2 lens)
I did some unscientific tests and found the lens soft at f2.8 and REALLY soft at f2
I found this lens was compact and a great companion to my 35mm f2 but was too soft for me.
Unfortunately the camera had a serious fault, in that the lens locking pin failed and so attempting to fit a new lens was impossible (we fitted and removed the supplied prime lens to take test shots) and it is not possible to take shots when the locking pins fails to engage.
I'm moving up from a Sony RX100V and wanted a compact interchangeable lens camera capable of producing outstanding
as I wanted a faster-focusing camera that could also use my fujinon lenses
In my opinion this gives the best of both worlds - a black and white view in the EVF / LCD with a contrasty Red focus peak, that produces an amazing JPEG while preserving a fully colored RAW file should I need it
I have not found the focus speed an improvement over previous models and it's painful to wait for the camera turn back on
The Focusing was supposedly improved, but in my experience the focusing seems less accurate and hunts more in low light compared to my older model.
I had found focusing peaking a bit difficult in certain situations with a color LCD / Viewfinder, namely due to a lack of contrast where the focus peaking color is the same as the subject e.g red focus peaking on a red fire truck, or where there's just no contrast at the point of focus at all

n’t have to miss the right cloud over a sunset or the perfect moment on someone’s face
I came from Canon as well as the Micro 4/3 world, and truly believe Fuji X cameras are top/pro quality
A great product, has meet every expectation I had for the camera.
