I didn't return the product, I'm not a tech guy ,had a little problem with the software set up, over the phone she provided a great technical support !

I did have a hard time with the laptop software (dvr163) which would only take a snap shot and lock up, but with great customer support, they sent me another monitoring software and manual, so now I'm up on monitor, phone and laptop.

I very easy set up , great email support, for questions.

The system arrived quickly and the setup was easy with the wireless cameras

Setup was relatively easy all cameras easily meet the advertised range (comes with 2 extra antennas) if improved range is needed.

After 6 months, every night activated LED has stopped working

Its only been a couple of days so far and everything seems to be working great even the mobile app to access the system remotely!

This is a great system but what makes the product such a great value is that the system come with excellent, prompt, and knowledgeable support if you run into any issues

The cameras provide a clear image (I selected the 960p because it was the best value and is a great picture and the system was an 8 channel instead of just four)

Well, at least you know it is possible,It is also a great value

The 8 channel 8 camera 2GB NVR system from Safevant is an incredible value and it has been phenomenal

Horrible app!

The App just doesnt connect well to the cameras sometimes over LTE or cellular but works great none the less

The smart phone app allow me to view the live video or play the recording video remotely at any time.

I would highly recommend these camera and their customer service

My last annoyance is mounting the cameras is a pain, only because the Wi-Fi antenna sticks out blocking the arm, preventing you from mounting to any horizontal surface (under the eave of your roof for example) and I had to install them all on vertical trim on the corners of my house

This means the cameras are pretty much worthless at night

I had one bad camera and they replaced with no problems

After I did purchase a hard drive the system did not recognize it, leaving the system useless

Without fully troubleshooting the problem with me, they sent me a new hard drive but it didn't work with the system
