It’s able to push 300 ohm headphones, not sure how much higher though, and provides great audio quality along with good amplification
ive had it for like a month and its great quality and boost but the switches to change between usb coax and optical is messed up
I got this to decode optical audio from my TV as well as to power my Sennheiser HD600 and Etymotic 4 series headphones
All in all, I really love the build quality and wish it would work with my system, because my motherboard produces static which the DAC eliminated entirely (while the mic was unplugged)
And the feet sit flat and are good quality rubber that doesn't slip
The bass doesn't bleed over into the mids at all making for a much cleaner bass and less "muddy" or "boomy" then lower end sound cards
There is zero electrical noise, and bass is punchy at medium volumes (although not intense, and not adjustable through either hardware or software EQ), and the sound is clean

Seems to expand and improve my digital audio listening experience.
I use the optical with my PS4 and the USB (cable included) with my laptop and it makes for a very pleasant experience as instead of having to switch headphones, I just have to flip a toggle switch
