The case is nice looking in my opinion but it makes the phone about double the thickness

To be honest the extra bulk it gives to the phone seems quite handy, cause as beautiful and slick the S8's design is, it's super thing, and me biking around a lot, it would not take much to fall out of my pocket... so in this case: bulk + heaviness = safety for me.

My experience with a battery case consists of a Mophie Juice Pack I had for my Galaxy S5, the one feature I loved about that case was the case would stay on all day and charge my phone until the case battery died, THEN the phone battery would start draining

It actually does the pass through charge to the phone, but your USB cable and power brick have to support the fast charge technology

However, I don't recommend charging while your phone is still inside of it

I was under the impression that the case itself would also fast charge, but it has been on the same charger that came with my S8 for like an hour

I did notice that my phone would not rapid charge with the case attach though.
