the game boy color is in good shape, it doesn't have any major scratches and the screen is in good condition
Been looking for one in good shape fo a few years and this fit the bill!
the system is in good shape, very little wear on the case and very few scratches on the screen and the Pokemon game makes a great addition to my slowly growing collection
One button is a little hard to press, but for a 17 year old device it's in pretty good shape
In good shape, one minor defect but easy fix, fast shipping, extremely happy with product
The system is...cheaper than teh new Game BOy Advance if you buy it used and the games are ...cheaper as well
The Game Boy Color is the best portable gaming system around
This is the best system that they did come out with beside's the GBA and GBA
where I lived, if you didn't have a gameboy, you were a loser lolgreat system as i remember it, fits in your hands, easy to play on all games for it, screen visible in sunlight as it shoud be, all great
I still remember that big bulky hand numbing system that was release in the eighties and the slimmer one release in the 90
The battery latch was missing, but I was able to find one the same color as the game boy, second issue, speaker doesn't work
This is way better than the bulky Game Boy and much lighter and smaller
For the 20+ crowd it becomes useful in situations like long flights, just be sure to buy "complex" game titles like zelda, or you'll be dissapointed with the short and easy games
(I don't see why you need one, all of the GOOD games I've played don't need one) and you can play normal Game Boy Games on them.
Some of the best games on Game Boy Color are Monopoly, Ken Griffey Jr.'s Slugfest, All Star Baseball 2000, Pokemon Pinball and Tetris DX
Great quality and plays all my old games without issue.
I was surprised by just how good the quality was, impeccable condition.
My 11 years son is very happy to touch this historical device in such good quality!
plus the gameboy is in very bad quality very disappointed i need the back panel and the gameboy has scratches on it very disappointed i want a refund or a better quality gameboy with no scrathes and a back panel.
The processor is still 8 bit but has faster and better quality hardware 8 bit then the others
Game Boy Color is absolutely a must-have if you want a portable video game console
The console was capable of showing up to 56 different colors simultaneously on screen from its palette of 32,768 (8x4 color background palettes, 8x3+transparent sprite palettes), and could add basic four-, seven- or ten-color shading to games that had been developed for the original 4-shades-of-grey Game Boy
In my 20s and remember game boy was the only console i had and to this day i still love it
Overall, if you want a good portable video game console, Game Boy Color is the one to beat
The console was a little dirty when I received it, but 5 minutes and a couple baby wipes fixed that
Even though the sound is kind of annoying, the graphics are pretty good for a handheld game
This item is very good because the graphics are great and it is portable.
The games are more like packman and arcade style games which I HATE(I like good 3-d graphic and adventure with horses). At
you are, however, looking for a portable system with good graphics, which is the same price as a GBC, but only has around 30 games, by all means get an NGPC.It's your choice, they're both good consoles.
(It's not that good) and plus the addition of bad graphics

The Game Boy is that small, colorful handheld video game system clutched by folks playing it everywhere
Popular among a wide age group, including a good number of airport-lounging power executives, the Game Boy has a true hardcore fan base comprised of millions (and millions) of kids around the globe
Nintendo's Game Boy debuted in the late '80s and has since sold more than 60 million units worldwide, far outpacing other hand-held game systems
With a catalog of more than 1,000 games and dozens of add-on peripherals, Game Boy is a monster of a hand-held game system, and a remarkably affordable one at that
Early March 1998 brought the release of the Game Boy Color system, an upgraded version of the original black-and-white system
It is equipped with an 8-bit CPU, doubling the original Game Boy's computing power
The small LCD screen can display up to 56 colors simultaneously (out of a 32,000-color palette), delivered via boosted video-processing memory that provides remarkably sharp and vibrant graphics
The hundreds of available games vary from tremendously compelling to instantly forgettable
Quality or not, the entire library of games designed for the original system is playable on Game Boy Color, but buyers should note that not all Game Boy Color games will work on the original Game Boy system
The Game Boy Color system is available in an exotic array of colors and special editions
Accessories and add-on peripherals abound, enhancing the playing experience with vibrating feedback to in-game bumps and crashes, extra battery power, and even a clever camera package that allows players to capture, tweak, and print images
