Yes, you can do this now with a number of smartphone apps, but in my experience, the inconvenience of carrying a phone with you (I don't like a big device in my pocket when I swing), and having it charged to boot (GPS drains phones) is a real problem.

Came as promised as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend who is a avid golfer

I would not consider using the blue-tooth because I do not like things in my pockets when golfing.

Very neat- husband uses all the time and has nothing but great things to say about it.

In four rounds I've gone through 2 devices, broke 1 tag and lost 4

One of the issues I have, which has nothing to do with the unit itself, is just remembering to work tagging into my pre-shot routine

You can then edit your round to ensure that all shots were tagged (you can easily add or delete shots, including penalty strokes), and tagged in the right location (you can easily move the location of each shot).
