In the past my son has gotten a few headsets that cost double the price and lasted only about 5 months with noticing some issues with parts before it actually went out, this product has been amazing, there are no issues with the mic, volume, etc.
I originally have the PS black model headphones and those things snapped dead center of headband and can no longer fit comfortably so I needed a replacement and these were better than the black model PS ones, I wish I would've purchased these originally since they are a better product and cost less as well.
