The mic stays in position, and all-in-all, this has proven to be a pretty good headset for the price (we've paid more for worse in the past).

Over all, its a good mic for a good price.only thing i didnt like too much (which isnt really that big a deal to me) are the 3.55mm jacks.there are 2 jacks (but can be converted to 1) and 1 usb.the jacks are for the mic and sound to plug into the tower or laptop, the USB powers the headset for the lights.

Sound of this head phone is great for gaming, I did not test its mike but other than that this is really awesome

They are over the ear and have a colorful red on the outer earpieces

They glow red when plugged into a USB port

My son just loves these he was so excite he ran home to try them and called and said they are excellent
