On one hole, the distance given by the watch seemed much further than my eyesight judged, but it turned out the watch was correct!One thing I don't like is the size--a bit too large for my wrist, so it's not exactly a "fashion" watch that you can wear off the course.
I started wearing it all day, and after some tuning to the notification and other settings I'm really liking having the thing on my wrist

Color touch screen is great and very clear to read in sunlight
The touch-screen and maps interface is also great, it's very easy to find distances to the pin and obstacles
clunky.- Touch screen is so sensitive that it was rarely on the hole I was playing because i had touched it somehow.
The touch screen works well, and I'm glad I didn't get the Fenix since it doesn't have a touch screen

It's a correct statement but the Approach S60 does not provide accurate course information

I also have a Léopold hand range finder which also works pretty we, and I would recommend both.
When I was originally considering buying a golf watch, I presumed I just needed a yardage measurement function, but the marketing verbiage described a watch which could do all sorts of interesting things, perfect for the avid golfer who wants more apps and statistics to measure progress
The watch looks great and it tracks a lot of very informative data for avid golfers.

I have an S4 which tracks my shot distances better, never misses a shot
The next time I took the watch out on the course, I wore it on my left wrist and It didn't miss a shot.

Absolutely love the Garmin S60 watch...fast, easy and accurate GPS distances while golfing, and so many additional features
Since I don't travel with a computer, GPS would be useless when I go to FL
After a round of golf, I am left with about 50% battery which is not bad, considering the small battery working on golf mode acquiring the GPS co-ordinates all the time
