It came in like now condition, but as has happened with all Garmin products I have purchased, 3 total, it was a challenge to update the software, but it did update.

They keep improving their features and many of their accessories are interchangeable.

BUT it lacks one of the most important features of previous garmins i've owned - displaying the speed limit ...

This GPS was accurate, told us of upcoming traffic delays, and one of the best features was that it told us what restaurants, gas stations, and rest stops were up ahead

Lots of good features AND PICKS UP SATELLITES FAR FASTER than the last 6 or so GPS's I've owned

much better, faster and more features then my old Nuvi 265

Screen went dark, then shut down (2) (from Best Buy, Would not recognize charging cable (3) from Best Buy, Turned off

Good buy for the money Will see how long it Last, especially the battery, since it was partially discharged upon arrival.

Works great, I've had an older Garmin (1490lmt) for many years

The touchscreen is a great update to my old Nuvi 1450 (had a terrible touchscreen).

only thing i didnt like is the lack of storage, when it arrives it needs to install like 15 updates, some of which wont fit with the built in storage.

Ran into a small issue while updating the GPS out of the box - it doesn't necessarily complete the full update if you follow the instructions verbatim, and will continue to show updates available until you turn the unit on to boot completely detached from the computer.

Understand that Garmin will likely stop providing free updates if you fail to keep the unit updated at least every 24 months.

Works fine, as any Garmin purchased..charge it on your CPU USB or your auto USB first and then go on line to get your free automatic updates.

Update: 5/6/2018I tried to return it to the factory, and they insisted it was not a "faulty" product

Overall though, it's a great product, even refurbished, and will highly recommend.

It's a great product and works wonderful with all the features, but the only complaint I have is the battery life is about 2 hours if not plugged in.

I'm well aware of Garmin's exceptional products, and researched this one to be my next one for my work vehicle

The directions are easy to follow and I like how it shows you turn by turn

Once I tried to update the maps (following their direct instructions) the unit stopped working entirely.

This is a great unit looks and works like new and came with all the attachments and cables ....... will for sure buy refurbished from Amazon again .

For those who still like a GPS unit in their vehicle, this is a good choice.

The unit worked fine on the road, but when I tried to update the software, it just froze...

Screen is very touch friendly, though little less resolution compared to the cellphones

sent back didn't work screen very dark and battery died.

I really like the bigger screen and the fact that it beeps whenever a speed limit changes, I exceed the speed limit and things of that nature

Garmin has lost a potential customer selling useless devices/software.

I have ever had, Garmin is so user friendly, Being a refurbished unit, I didn’t hesitate compared to new, considering the price difference!

Device was refurbished and didn't work upon arrival, wouldn't connect through computer to be recognized by Garmin Express, couldn't download any maps, and also could no longer turn off by depressing off button per the support staff!

This device uses the battery to function and will not work unless the battery is charged

The first device that was delivered was defective and there was some thing loose in the inside so returned it

I could go on all day, but I'll wrap this up by saying I love this device,

I received the device today and it worked just fine until I performed a software update for the maps

And I love that it notifies me of the speed limit, and when I am speeding, and even upcoming speed limit changes, and it is accurate on that to the foot

it is nice that it notifies you when there's a speed limit

The speed limit display is helpful though sometimes it doesn't show the speed limit at all or shows incorrectly

I bought a new cable, and it still didn't work

Garmin confirmed that the cable I received was the wrong cable and is unable to receive live traffic updates

Originally when the only problem was the wrong cable I was just going to have them send a replacement cable
