Additionally, there was a problem with recognition of dirt roads, which happens to be a major issue for me in my rural area (I assume the latter will be fixed with software updates in the future, though).More generally, while the DriveSmart is a good unit – and a huge improvement over any GPS unit from prior to the 2014 line

Another bug that I found is sometimes when starting a new route, the unit will say "please drive to highlighted route..."
