I find the accuracy of this device unacceptable

It is great if you want a wallet-friendly device with good basic functionality in a small, light, easy to use package.

New to the Edge series devices, the promotional videos here on Amazon and the Garmin website make the device look super refined and sexy

And this is a huge disappointment when they go ride and the device is dead

UPDATE 8/25/2015 ----------------I was very much enjoying this device until Garmin released firmware update 2.5

This device fails to acquire GPS signal on 50% of my bike rides - even on clear, sunny days

The device shines in keeping the interface simple

but apparently they want you to buy their much more expensive device

Exceeded my expectation for such a compact device

However, at least for me, this device is perfect and I'm really pleased with my purchase

This is a nifty device that has everything that I hoped for - except that you cannot connect a charger mid-ride without it terminating the ride.

Other than that missing, it's a good device to record your mileage.
