Great battery life, amazing screen, fast charging, and REAL MAPS!
Great touch screen and very intuitive, fast, and great battery life
I charge mine with a portable battery, while its attached to my wrist, and I think the battery life (considering I now have a computer that I can wear on my wrist, with a direct sun-readable
Second, the battery will last around 3-4 days, pretty good for a gps device, but again, it is not a watch
But once I charged the battery full over night a few times the battery is good
Dealing with customer support at Garmin is a nightmare, so I *really* recommend looking for a watch elsewhere
Good looking, light weight, has a lot of information about your training, excelent to track routes (I download it from wikiloc and send it to the watch.. mostly for mountain bike trails)
If you need a device that serves GPSMap type features this is almost going to work for you, if you are just looking for a smartwatch with a large screen and fitness tracking I'd look elsewhere.
i loved the look and feel and the applications when they work

I love everything about it - the displaying of the map, navigational abilities - turn by turn directions, the trackback feature while hiking - beeps if you go off-course (and tells you you are off-course) which I did purposely to check if it does so
If you think this watch is going to have bright beautiful display like a Gear S3 think again.

Can't appreciate all of the good things, because its bulkier than a Breitling and pauses if the computations are too much for it
touch display, BT, GPS, and dedicated content supplemented by community and third-party apps) is the coolest thing since Nokia's mini candybar phones at the dawn of mobile telecommunications, just a decade ago
At about 30grams, it's not a small thing, but it's not bad either.

The next few days, the smart notification works randomly
The next few days, the smart notification works randomly
But in this age of smartphones, the fact that a watch so advanced in functions can't do a simple reliable phone notifications deserves it a two-star rating

(But the Epix has gps features that crushes that of the Suunto, and thats what I needed, solid gps capability on the fly, which is part of a wrist watch).
Simply the best GPS/ Fitness/ Activity tracker/ Smart Watch on the Market.
The GPS tracks well and the mapping system is excellent
I have found the GPS to be more accurate than others have suggested.

Even though it has a few bugs, Garmin has been knocking them out quickly.
Connected just fine to Garmin website, which told me the software was up to date.
And, I personally thank Garmin for finally delivering technology worth a damn, I'll let ya know how it holds up to a circumnavigation
For whatever reason, Garmin just can't make its' software work.
Amazing product, however... Garmin decides to ship this very expensive device with a Lithium-Ion battery at 0% charge which is destructive to these types of batteries and will certainly cripple the battery life from the start
Great features for me are the fact you can upload your own routes and it indicates where you have to go and also notifies
For a very long time I held off buying a GPS / sports watch since I felt that while watches like the Suunto Ambit 3 were very good, they just didn't have enough features to justify the investment for me.
Once u buy it and wear it U will not have any complaints at all
I could spend many lines praising all it's capabilities, but I short, to me, this watch is like having almost all of the good features of the Garmin multisportwatch 920xt in combination with the features of a navigator
The problem is that the screen resolution is much worse than that of a modern smart phone, and the coolest feature, which is the bird eye view, is very limited compared to my cell phone Google Earth

I say a device, because the definition of "watch" quite underestimates the capabilities of the product
each time). The device itself looks good on paper---long battery life and built in Topo maps
I am sure it is a great device, but will not give it the 5th star because of the effort it takes to set it up

Great touch screen and very comfortable on the wrist
Great touch screen and very intuitive, fast, and great battery life
I don’t find the touch screen very useful for myself which is another aspect of the Epix I like is that you can do what you need with the buttons
The battery life leaves much to be desired and the usability is very low, given the unresponsive touch screen, slow processing of information, and othera
