  • I expect that if they do not change their attitude soon, they will be in the same boat as General Motors and Chrysler, who were ripping people off by selling as much junk as fast as they could
  • it works amazingly well and the life it gets from the batteries great (i can get 15-20 hours of screen time!

Reviews around service (5.00 of 5)

  • I would recommend this unit regardless of the fact that smartphones these days offer perhaps better mapping services, but thy are not reliable while you are away from socket for days and in more challenging conditions.
  • Great service and good product
  • Great service of the seller

Reviews around 76 (5.00 of 5)

  • The case seals on this unit definitely don't seem as durable as the 76 and I think that's likely the issue many people are having with leaking
  • While it does, as advertised, lock on to satellites slightly better inside buildings and other obstructions, compared to the 76 it also bounces around a lot more when it has good reception (it's worth pointing out that both continue the trend from my previous GPS72, which didn't have a high-sensitivity antenna and so was awful under any kind of tree cover, but would get a pretty accurate and repeatable point with only four satellites).

  • I expect that if they do not change their attitude soon, they will be in the same boat as General Motors and Chrysler, who were ripping people off by selling as much junk as fast as they could
  • I purchase 18 of this GPS to sell in my country Guyana South America and it works very well my customer love the performance of this
  • and I do expect the same good battery performance

Reviews around case (5.00 of 5)

  • I expect that if they do not change their attitude soon, they will be in the same boat as General Motors and Chrysler, who were ripping people off by selling as much junk as fast as they could
  • Updating to a 5 star since for me, the actual features outweigh the lack of case / decent manual
  • So, no manual to speak of and the PDF stinks...and no soft sided case included like with the 76

Reviews around tool (5.00 of 5)

Reviews around light (5.00 of 5)

  • The gray on green is unreadable under optimal light and is impossible in sunlight
  • The screen is clear and quite readable even in bright light

Reviews around peace (5.00 of 5)

  • I expect that if they do not change their attitude soon, they will be in the same boat as General Motors and Chrysler, who were ripping people off by selling as much junk as fast as they could
  • I like the power options - being able to grab it off the bike and take it hiking is great - also nice peace of mind that I'll have a GPS if I have to leave the bike due to malfunction

Reviews around screen (3.95 of 5)

  • The screen is impossible to read, even in bright daylight, without the backlight.
  • The screen is clear and quite readable even in bright light
  • The only positive is that the screen was quite bright and I thought the battery life was pretty good.

Reviews around thing (1.00 of 5)

  • Then I had to ask him why the damn thing had an elevation profile program in it, then
  • By the time I got home with it, 99 days, and 17,000 miles later, I hated this thing
  • The first thing I noticed with the 78 is the lack of a decent manual, even online
