Garmin Nuvi 2598LMTHD Advanced Series 5" GPS Navigation System with Bluetooth (Certified Refurbished)

    • If you have a smart phone, don't waist your money
    • Product works great, i really like the hands free phone link.
    • also improves the calling voice feature a lot of smart phones have played with it on a few calls was really cool couldn't find any reviews to explain the Bluetooth feature basically it adds more features to your farming via your cell app kinda sux that the extras range from 2 extra apps at 4.99 and one other one at 19.99 the apps are like weather alerts flooding rain snow etc traffic cams will show you exactly what's going on using city's traffic cams kinda cool
    • I compare it with my smart phone, the smart phone will save me at list 30 to 40 min. in traffic
    • I bought it for the Bluetooth connection and the promise of it linking with Garmin's smartphone link app which allows quick sharing of an address on your phone to the GPS, thereby leaving your phone available for all other features without being ride up as a GPS.I had trouble keeping the link working with the smartphone app, so I returned
    • I use both but don't want to have the maps apps on my phone use all its resources and interrupt phone conversations
    • I could have just gotten a stand for my smart phone instead of the Garmin, but my experience on longer trips is that the smart phone may lose connection in places where the Garmin doesn't, and I like having the smart phone free for other uses.
    • Top of the of the line display, magnetic mount (with no separate usb power cord needing to be connected), portrait mode automatically like a smart phone, and glass high resolution display
    • No Garmin GPS devices aimed at the automotive GPS market is in the same ballpark as a recent generation smart phone with Google Maps or Waze
    • The bluetooth hands free phone link is especially valuable for updating vehicles that do not have integrated/on-board hands-free phone capabilities
    • It has blue tooth that I love using to send addresses from my phone to the GPS (using their app), but when it's connected I can't figure out how to NOT use it's build in speaker phone (my car has a much better speaker phone)
