    Garmin Nuvi 57LM GPS Navigator System with Spoken Turn-By-Turn Directions,5 inch display, Lifetime Map Updates, Direct Access, and Speed Limit Displays

    • Battery dies after 1-2 hours of use and it literally malfunctioned after 31 days so I could not have returned it to amazon
    • Is this normal or is this a faulty battery.
    • I had no such problem, the battery works as it should and lasts a very long time (haven't tested it to see exactly how long, one of these days I will try just to see), although obviously if you're going on a long trip it's probably better to just keep it plugged in if you can
    • I had to charge it when I first got it the battery was dead
    • second one i received with a dead battery ---- am returning it for refund --- beginning to wonder about the quality of the new garmins
    • If I do that, it's going to drain my car battery since I don't drive a lot any more.
    • We purchased this Garmin at Best Buy to replace an old one with a bad battery while we were on a trip fully expecting to be able to purchase another Waalace and Grommit voice for it
