Garmin is propagating a serious flaw in its embedded software, after a "lifetime" update you go back to your car and find "incompatible power cord" and so now your traffic no longer works, whereas, five minutes before, before the SW update, the traffic was working fine.

The screen also reads that I have the wrong Cord!

I'm pretty sure that I was given the wrong cord because my GPS won't connect to traffic

Very poor design; you MUST use the special cord that comes with this unit, as it does not work with a standard 5vdc USB cord.

I received the 1st one on June 1st and within days it was telling me that I had the wrong cord
