Garmin Nuvi 57LM GPS Navigator System with Spoken Turn-By-Turn Directions,5 inch display, Lifetime Map Updates, Direct Access, and Speed Limit Displays

    • Mine is going back and after many, many years of being a loyal Garmin customer, I now see them as overly-greedy (like most companies nowadays).
    • My old Garmin failed after only 3 years.
    • The last Garmin 57LM that I owned had warnings for speed cameras
    • I have my car's GPS and this unit both running in the car, and the Garmin seems more responsive to satellite signals
    • Install Failed - Garmin Express could not be installed on this computer.
    • not as good as my old Garmin
    • Garmin worked for us
    • I bought a Garmin portable friction mount also and so glad I did, Changing from car to car is a breeze.
    • Garmin is well worth the investment for such piece of mind.
    • This has not been my best Garmin.
    • My old Garmin finally died.
    • I liked my old Garmin much better.
    • I liked my old Garmin much better.
    • I now have a useless Garmin and have to rely on my iPhone to provide me with the fastest route.
    • Best gps.. we were traveling to Yosemite and hwy was closed, garmin showed us correct route and was able to reach safely

    • I love my new Garmin
    • Now I have 2 great working Garmin's.
    • good Garmin quality as usual
    • Garmin never disappoints
    • I have owned both Magellan and Tom Tom devices in the past and Garmin is the easiest and most accurate to use.
    • Love the garmin and the traffic option is very much worth the little bit more
    • I like this Garmin because it gives visuals like "turn left at the Bank of America", etc... or "turn right at the next light"... perfect
    • I just want to say, I thought Garmin was better
    • I'll never get lost with Miss Garmin giving the directions
    • Garmin leads me in the area of Nashville
    • but I love Garmin
    • This Garmin is awesome.
    • Purchased to replace older garmin gps that I really liked but was too expensive to update.
    • This is a great Garmin for the price, with downloadable updates from your PC.
    • But by the same token, Google Maps and Apple Maps are a necessary addition to the GPS; sometimes Google or Apple maps will find the road I am looking for when Garmin won’t (and vice versa).
    • We love this new Garmin
    • This Garmin, however, NEVER FAILED
    • So it has to be seller or Amazon in this case selling this fake garmin gps.
    • This Garmin works very well.
    • Was hoping to love this -- did love my first Garmin.
    • Sorry Garmin, work on battery issues and you'd win big time for navigation.
    • Sorry Garmin, work on battery issues and you'd win big time for navigation.
    • My only complaint on the camera was Garmin did not include the wire splicers and the GPS did not include a memory card
    • Upgraded my last garmin, which still works
    • This is truly a great Garmin!!!!!!
    • Love my Garmin!
    • This Garmin is a considerable upgrade, worked much better and was a lot cheaper
    • I usually check my routes before a trip with Google and then use the Garmin as dashboard help, mostly ignoring it and until I force it onto a decent route
    • really like the Garmin much more than the Magellan.
    • If you are planning any serious driving in Europe, you will need this, or an equally capable, Garmin.
    • I love my Garmin and highly recommend it over a cell phone. .
    • Not as good as the olf Garmin
    • This Garmin is marginal.
    • My old Garmin lasted about 6 years this new Garmin works
    • I always recommend garmin to family and friends for the excellent features and the reasonable interface.
    • Other than mispronouncing street names, this Garmin works exactly as promised.
    • The Garmin worked great except it took a quite a while to acquire the Satellite, but not sure if that is the Garmin's fault.
    • So how did Garmin miss what the rest of the world does?Buyer beware because the "lifetime free map updates" means "only for so long as Garmin considers the unit to have a useful life."
    • Garmin has completely revised the user interface software for these devices and completely ruined it.
    • Garmin is propagating a serious flaw in its embedded software, after a "lifetime" update you go back to your car and find "incompatible power cord" and so now your traffic no longer works, whereas, five minutes before, before the SW update, the traffic was working fine.
    • This Garmin is not as user friendly as Garmins I've had in the past.
    • I have had a Garmin for several years and really liked it
    • I hate using my cell phone GPS while I'm driving, but I usually end up doing so because the Garmin takes me on longer routes and misses construction, etc. that my phone is aware of
    • Love my Garmin
    • but I'm too lazy to get up to speed with it and find the Garmin is fine for me.
    • Best Garmin product I have ever
    • See Garmin,com/express,In all fairness, we don't know if this Garmin is a winner

    • Very disappointed in he Garmin Nuvi57 purchased as a Christmas gift for parents.
    • Replacement for my older garmin unit that was stolen out of my car
    • I love the garmin
    • a very garmin problem
    • With my old Garmin (recently stolen) you start entering an address with the zip code, then when it has the zip it finds your street name right off the bat
    • I wish it had a less annoying voice, something with a little more twang, but hey, Garmin don't sound like no farm boys name, if you know what I mean
    • I doubt it's garmin as I always used garmin in past and never had this issue
    • I got it for the free life time maps, but the garmin i bought in 2007 for $100 was much better
    • etcI only trust Garmin products to keep me heading in the right direction and getting me there as easy as possible
    • I blame Garmin, not Amazon
    • This has been the hardest Garmin to use
    • Will not be recommending Garmin to friends anymore.
    • I have tried Tom Tom too, but it is not nearly as intuitive as a Garmin.

    • Garmin is by far the best I've used so far
    • This is the best Garmin I have had yet
    • Don't trust Garmin to take you off road in your Civic
    • We use phones to start trip and double check stupid Garmin
    • Its better then my previous garmin.
    • Easy to install as well...Would definitely recommend this Garmin Nuvi 57 GPS.
    • I had 2 tomtoms that were easy to set up routes until they died ( the second prematurely, hence my switch to garmin) ) but this Garmin is difficult for me to operate and I am sorry I bought it. .
    • Replaced our beloved old Garmin Nuvi that was stolen.
    • The Garmin works
    • It's not so much that we do not like this Garmin,
    • It's not as reliable as my original Garmin
    • I recommend this Garmin.
    • So Garmin works pretty well on the seaside and even in the mountain
    • Love this garmin Nuvi
    • Great little G p
    • Love my g p s
    • I had no such problem, the battery works as it should and lasts a very long time (haven't tested it to see exactly how long, one of these days I will try just to see), although obviously if you're going on a long trip it's probably better to just keep it plugged in if you can
    • I dont really need the traffic notification, but having the map pulled up and encountering a problem, does afford an on-the-fly alternative route option to go around it.
    • Time will tell if its as great as I think after only using it once..
    • Further, the device does not update your current location on the map as fast as it should be, which gives a chance for missing a turn or an exit
    • My elderly aunt wanted this brand, and it is NOT user friendly, doesn't offer bypass routes, and simply didn't work as it said
    • The traffic info came i handy as it would let you know if there was an accident or roadwork ahead causing delays.
    • Worked as it should have
