Smart Activity Tracker with Wrist-based Heart Rate Plus GPS GPS tracks distance and pace while mapping out your run or walk Swim-friendly, sleek band is comfortable to wear all day, and the always-on touchscreen display shows your stats...
The display is exceptional, enabling me to view the screen even in bright and direct sunlight
The display is nice a visible with great contrast in most lighting, especially bright sun, but the backlight cannot be seen in anything but almost total darkness, which with the good contrast is not too much of an issue
I would love it if the display were a little brighter though
It is comfortable and the display is easy to read in most situations

the band is soft and stretchy, so wearing it tight enough to get reliable (or at least consistent) heart rate monitoring doesn't feel uncomfortable at all
So, water-resistant, good heart rate accuracy, oh - notifications work pretty, not really obtrusive, and Garmin Connect links with Apple Healthkit and MyFitnessPal (big bonus).

I'm a watch guy and have several really nice watches I like to wear
I wouldn't say that I failed, the watch failed me
I tried more sophisticated smart watches and realized I don't need one
I do like the features and the watch is very handy on hikes, but after owning the watch only about 8 months, the face has started to crack and looks like it is peeling off
The app for it works well and I have rarely had problems syncing my Garmin with it
The watch arrived on time, looking as new out of the box and working as expected, with its instruction booklet, original box and cable, already took it for a 10k and works really nice, it started measuring the activity automatically and showed very similar results to what my Garmin Crhonos measured which is one of the best Garmin trackers Garmin makes.
Garmin has pushed out updates for this product since then and those problems all but disappeared
This happens several times a day in every type of environment (wifi, cellular, interfering bluetooth devices at a gym, etc.) and is frustrating
Other than that, this is a perfectly good and functional device.
, it is blocked, it is downloaded at 8 o'clock, it is not connected to the app, it is a bad quality device, I DO NOT
Finding the right device on the app, getting my phone to recognize my device, finding the right pin number to input (typed the number on the screen of the watch, not the paper that said try 1234) took time
Seems just like new and love the all day heart rate tracking and easy tracking of activity with GPS.
really quicklyScreen is easy to read and the menu is intuitiveI do like being reminded to get up and move around and the vibration alarm is not overly obnoxiousCon:It took FOREVER to pair the first time with the app and my phone kept having to restart everything until it finally came upDoes not keep good track of my swimming, lifting, or anything really other than running (on device sometimes when I download to the
Bad: HR tracking
I got it to pair with app and phone the first time it has been easy sinceKeeps good track of my runs and
The poor HR tracking throws off my weekly intensity minutes cuz it measures a workout as a resting heart rate
This does several things pretty well for me and resolves a big issue I had with my previous GPS running watches like my Polar M400.What it does well (at least for
It does weird things and I am not sure if it's because it's undesirable behavior of the Garmin
Some things I do not like are that it does not seem to know when I am riding a stationary bike
It would be a good idea for you to check out all the features too because it doesn't have fancier things like sending a premade route to the watch, color screen, or oxygen intake
The GPS functionality goes haywire after 4.5 hours and the whole thing dies after 5.5 hours, which sucks for an ultra-runner.
