It has been scratched in different places on the front which is stainless steel so it really shows.

After I received it and read the instructions it was evident that not only were the instructions clear and easy to understand, the "U" shaped mounting bracket made the installation easy compared to the LG model which has just a bottom rail that requires millimeter-precision measuring which is practically impossible

The instructions are not clear on how to install the charcoal filter for non vented installations.

I had never installed an over-the-range microwave before but with the good GE instructions and included

Mostly because the instructions were so good I was able to minimize my time lifting and setting into the bottom rail

Bought this microwave to save space and for a good look to go with my stainless range, after only a couple of uses had one small splatter that hit door and is now a mess between metal mesh and glass with no way to clean it and no way to disassemble doir to clean it

The top was dented , no back light, the top of the micro-wave on the left gets very hot, steams up inside door .Also has a dent looking place inside the window

i just needed a mic that works and i have better things to spend money on than appliances

One thing I don't like is that the control panel is very dark, and practically invisible in dim light

I knew by the specs and lower price that I was giving up some things like advanced programming, a second shelf, meat probe,100 watts, a backlit control pad and, well, as it turned out an overall better made, better quality product

Also, the time window is light with a bright white light.

Left side is dark; gives the impression they omitted a light on the left side, but when I changed the (only) bulb, there was nowhere to add a second socket and bulb

The 1st problem was the light underneath on the right side kept going out, and we had to replace the dumb bulb 3 times (@$4 each), before I got fed up and called GE customer service, which was horrible to deal with

Unusable, except for exhaust fan and overhead light for stove

I will agree with previous reviewers that the buttons are hard to read unless the light is just right

I tested it out for a few days and it functioned fine, so I decided to install it anyways because the damage was mostly limited to areas that would be covered by the cabinets and the remaining damage would be difficult to spot unless you were looking for it (the front, stainless steel, etc areas were fine).

REALLY LIKE THIS OVEN.

It performs as expected however the mounting hardware has changed slightly and needed adjustments to hang the new oven on the existing bracket

If you leave the work lights on, the oven can be used as a warming oven !

July of 2018 and a Lilly’s over 18 months and this oven is now garbage.

The box looked like it was housing a new item; but, once opened, I found the packing Styrofoam not to be in the best of condition and it was missing the oven turntable.

We have been using this item for 1 year and a few weeks and it has already died on us

Just died today, 1/9/2019 after weeks of tripping circuit breaker over and over again

And it completely stopped working today February 2018

Based on other reviews, it appears this GE model has severe issues.

The lack of a backlight on the keypad hasn't been a huge issue.

One odd issue, both units were the same model but the rear mounting plates were different.

Each time I use it I wonder when it's going to fall apart or stop working...

I'll be purchasing a product from a foreign company next time, you, your engineers, and your factory workers can starve before you get my money again.

It was easy to install, quiet operation, intuitive control panel, excellent fan air exchange, quality appearance and most important, it does a great job cooking.

I also like that it has two levels (high and low) for both the surface light and the vent fan.

The light burns out constantly, and the fan is really loud.

I'm hoping when the third replacement comes and it is fully installed, it will sound better when closing the door instead of like a $50 model

GE technicians recommended replacing the door (2 weeks to get the part), but I doubt that it is the problem

It blew a 20amp fuse caused by faulty door microswitches

After 15 months, it started blowing the internal fuse every few days

Replaced the fuse and both worked again for a few days.

After only 7 months of use, the door switch arced and blew the fuse and toasted the control board

When you open the door it twists slightly which ultimately blows the fuse

Then, it started blowing my circuit breaker, usually 1 of 3 uses it'll blow the breaker (which is dedicated to the appliance; nothing else on that circuit)

It worked fine for 9 months but then started blowing the breaker

It worked well when it worked, although the range hood was almost worthless, but it started blowing the circuit breaker and after a few more days it just died

Disappointed this microwave just started blowing my circuit breaker.
