This unit was a "best buy" in Consumer Reports

Consumer Report lists as a "best buy" and was second highest rated microwave, overall.

I went and picked up the same at Best Buy for $20 less

On high u definitely hear it but not deafening, lower levels still work & sound is barely noticeable (if at all).
