The power isn't as great as the bigger ones, but that doesn't bother us...
The microwave is a great space saver , but does not have enough power because of the low wattage
It will be mounted in a wall cabinet, only 12" in depth, this unit is the shallowest, high quality, medium/high powered (800 watts) unit we could find, only 12 7/8" outside depth.
So happy to find microwave with small profile, but all the power and looks
This GE microwave did not meet my expectations - it looks good - but it just does not function properly or even have enough power to reheat coffee,I'm sending it back.
(But, hey, the fan still turns on when I open the door!)So very poor quality for the price.
GE, you should be ashamed of your poor quality control!
Well I am not kidding when I say my $60 one is so much better quality
This microwave is good quality, but it is so under-powered that it takes minutes to heat up a room temperature cup of coffee instead of the 30 seconds our older and more powerful microwave did
Seems to be a very good quality microwave, very good features and functions
GE apparently didn't illuminate the panel to save a buck or three, but it makes it unusable without a flashlight
The first ones either stopped running or lost their control panel, the last one we kept way too long as we ignored paint flaked off throughout it, falling on food and likely unsafe
Works as it ought to.
Illuminating the control panel would be a great upgrade.
The door closure is noisy, the panel is difficult to read (numbers and words are small and dark), the one light inside is dim.
I (along with many other irate owners) have found that after about 2 years, the white interior paint on the ceiling of these GE microwaves starts peeling off....and falling into the family food
The first one lasted about two years--the interior paint flaked off and the interior rusted.
n’t clean well for some reason
Works as it ought to.
Spent the extra $200 for the space save model and ignored bad reviews regarding paint peeling, etc
Very poor design, often pinches hands when closing the door.
In addition, the new unit arrived with a shattered turntable, the result of an incompetent packing design
This is the way to go if you messed up your kitchen design and forgot to put the deep shelf in for the microwave, as long as you have the width for it.
The stainless steel design is fantastic
only months old shows depressions on each digit from where you have to push it which makes it look old and used… Poor design
This microwave is fine, however it is Basically $150 too expensive compared to other similar models, only because it is literally THE ONLY one this size that is 13" deep.
It's features are mediocre compared to other
Works as it should, if hang under cabinet just buy 4 screws from hardware store.
Disappointed with the new unit because even though power rating is the same, it appears underpowered compared to the previous unit (e.g. popcorn takes longer to pop and increases likelihood of burnt kernels).
