Gel UV LED Nail Lamp,LKE Nail Dryer 40W Gel Nail Polish UV LED Light with 3 Timers Professional Nail Art Tools Accessories White

    • I even tried using it just for a protective base coat and it didn’t do squat
    • So, after reading reviews I decided to purchase this nail lamp and Gellen polish and Aimeili base and top coat
    • I read some reviews saying their nails were still tacky; remember to wipe nails with alcohol after completing the top coat and curing for the 60-90seconds
    • Maybe mine is defective but it won’t cure a coat whatsoever
    • To top that off, over the next two days, the entire coat of polish lifted - FELL OFF of 4 fingernails
    • (i have the modelones top coat & matte coat )
    • and I used it on my nails with a top coat that won’t dry without uv lamp cure
    • Her set came out marred looking and her top coat had skippers in the finish
    • until my instructor told me the gel base coat will be tacky, the gel won’t harden or dry all the way until you apply your 2 layers of gel polish and gel top coat
    • So then I put the Beetles brand top coat and it dried the polish in just 2 minutes
    • Cured them extremely well within 90 seconds each coat
    • I use 99 sec setting when doing the base coat, gel polish and top coat.
    • With Gelish you do need to wipe each coat with rubbing alcohol (or at the minimum wipe the top coat at the end)
    • I did my own later that evening and the issue is the light DOESN’T cure the coats enough in between layers (regardless if it’s thin layers) causing bleed on each coat, uneven layers, and my top coat appeared to be wiping off the color due to them still being “wet”
    • My 1st few coats were slightly tacky ( Not sure if thats normal)
    • I am using the gelish base and top coats and their nail polish which I have used before on other no chip nail lights
    • My top coat bubbled and cured with skippers (un-even strokes) despite the extra time I took to achieve a better outcome
    • It seems like maybe it’s not cured after the base and color coat, but once you put the top coat on and cure that, it’s completely done
    • But once I applied the top coat, I was shocked that it actually worked
    • No Wipe Gel Top Coat for this application
    • I used rubbing alcohol on my nails before and after top coat
    • I tend to use that when I do my top coat just to have less uv/led exposure.
    • I was struggling a little bit but the no wipe top coat I had worked perfectly and cured 100%
    • Then, I used the no wipe top coat, cured it (60 seconds after each coat I put on) and done
    • Maybe the lamp was not warm enough yet for the Gelish top coat
    • Base, 2-3 coats of gel color (depending on how light the color is) & top coat
    • To top that off, over the next two days, the entire coat of polish lifted - FELL OFF of 4 fingernails
    • At first i was going to leave a bad review after it did not cure my base coat (3 coat system: base, color, top) and left a sticky residue that would not dry
    • Base coat: 10-15 seconds, color: 30-40 seconds, top coat: 20-30 seconds.
    • The reason why your polish is still tacky after you use the light, is because you are supposed to wipe your nails off with an alcohol wipe before the top coat
    • I tried a very thin layer of top coat
    • It does cure better the nail polish layer and for sure it cures the top coat but it’s causing your nail polish chip off very quick ☹️
    • and I used the Gelish for base and top coat and the Beetles brand for the gel color
    • Although, I do add extra time for the base coat and top coat.
    • The Gelish top coat did not dry with the lamp, even after 4 minutes
    • No matter what I try with all the dehydration, base, polish and top coat
    • The light will just start counting which is convenient because I only do 10-15 seconds for the top coat
    • Every time I place my hand under it & apply a top UV Gel coat it starts to burn my finger after leaving it under for more than 10 seconds & makes a blinking light
    • If you paint your nails with regular polish ....sec give a few minutes and then use the UV clear clear top coat
    • I use this along with the Aimeili top coat and i love the results
    • after I put on the top coat they were sticky, so I was annoyed and thought it didn’t work
    • two coats of color (dry 90 sec between each) top coat (dry 60 sec) & then wipe with acetone to get rid of the sticky followed by blossom cuticle oil
    • and when I added the top coat It did cure
    • It’s important to be aware that the quality of your gel depends how you prepare your nails before you apply the base, color gel then the top coat
    • I have poly gel kits and gel polish.. it works great for top coats and matte gels
    • So after doing my research, I used rubbing alcohol after curing the GELISH top coat and it got rid of the tacky/sticky layer
    • Perfect exactly as it is labeled, works perfectly
    • I am confused as to why
    • Worked half a$$ for total of like 6 min and won't turn back on no matter what i do
    • n’t work at all
    • OTHERWISE YOUR NAILS WON’T SEEM DRY!
