Any pH balanced soap will do for cleaning, but Masters works exceptionally well, and will also resurrect brushes that I have overlooked and had paint left on them for several days.
While I still use dish soap to do the initial cleaning, I end up using this Masters Cleaner to get the remaining paint out of the brushes.
I still love The Masters for how well it cleans my few natural hair and many synthetic brushes
