Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I REV Bluetooth 4.2/Wireless AC/B/G/N Band Dual Frequency 2.4Ghz/5.8Ghz Expansion Card

    • Finally I went and downloaded Gigabyte's software (only because I lack an optical drive, you can probably just go ahead and pop the disk in), and the problem disappeared entirely
    • and I am not sure the magnet would be strong enough nor in close enough proximity to affect the hard drive
    • and then I ran into issues with windows 10 and ended up having to format my hard drive to reinstall it decided to try and use the card
    • By not installing the 330MB Intel software, you can save some hard drive space and the card works just fine.
    • I was a little alarmed by this, as I have always been paranoid about magnets and hard drives
    • Love i, t and the Gigabyte
    • good i like it
    • good price point, after few month of use i see its not strong in wireless signal and have some drop with my wireless 2.4ghz modem and i well try to mange that
    • The good:This device and its antenna, powered by the Intel 7260 AC wireless adapter, gets a stronger signal from my N router than my previous Intel Centrino 6300N (which had 3 hi-gain, dual-band antennas, and was also connected through a PCI-e adapter). The bad and the ugly
