Finally I went and downloaded Gigabyte's software (only because I lack an optical drive, you can probably just go ahead and pop the disk in), and the problem disappeared entirely

and I am not sure the magnet would be strong enough nor in close enough proximity to affect the hard drive

and then I ran into issues with windows 10 and ended up having to format my hard drive to reinstall it decided to try and use the card

By not installing the 330MB Intel software, you can save some hard drive space and the card works just fine.

I was a little alarmed by this, as I have always been paranoid about magnets and hard drives

good i like it

good price point,after few month of use i see its not strong in wireless signal and have some drop with my wireless 2.4ghz modem and i well try to mange that
