Easy to use clock to 2038 MHz no software needed.- Stays cool around 66c after a few hours on the Division and the Witcher 3Cons: - small coil whine but gone after two minute of using the card for first time.
-
My only real complaint is that there is coil whine under load that I can hear over the fans in my case.
-
However, the g1 gaming 1080 has a TON of coil whine
-
My GPU log shows no throttlingNo coil Whine, no fan noise.
-
There's a tiny bit of coil whine when loading games or running at low load, but this passes quickly and is much milder than my experiences with whine in the past - hardly noticeable
-
Very powerful card, I only wish it had more available power to attain higher stable overclocks but for the Price compared to some of the other manufactures this is a great 1080, I plan in the future to pick up a second one to SLI with, and very stable temps I might add the cooler design here is great and efficient, so far I have not run into any issues of Coil whine or throttling, even when using an overclocked frequency, I went out on a limb going with gigabyte, I had always been a fan of M
-
Very fast card (2015mhz out of the box), RGB light, no coil whine, low temperatures and low noise.
-
I launched Car Mechanic Sim 2018 and battletech and Need for Speed Payback and i heard annoying Coil whine sounds
-
I ran the fans max to check for coil whine and nothing
-
LEDsCONS:-Loud coil whine
-
The coil whine is there when I'm running Overclocked, I plan on upgrading my psu and maybe that may help with constant power delivery or something

-
My comp sits literally right next to me and the coil whine is only noticeable under load, overclocked, with everything muted
-
Worst thing is the coil whine, it is insanely loud when playing a game and when you alt-tab out of a game onto your desktop the coil whine stops, but the second you go back in game it comes back again
-
This used one does have mild coil whine.
-
Coil whine is through the roof, gigabyte seems to refuse to get back to me on why this is the case with this expensive card
-
But the massive price spike and the dreaded talk of this "coil whine" this card makes has completely turned me off to this product
-
This card is a very good value, runs very cool with the stock air cooler, and if audible coil whine won't bug you too much, I highly recommend it
-
It is able to overclock very well; I am able to achieve +100 on the core and +300 on the memory and the temperature hasn't exceeded 63°C while gaming
-
Around 60 C worst I've seen
