My only real complaint is that there is coil whine under load that I can hear over the fans in my case.

However, the g1 gaming 1080 has a TON of coil whine

My comp sits literally right next to me and the coil whine is only noticeable under load, overclocked, with everything muted

Worst thing is the coil whine, it is insanely loud when playing a game and when you alt-tab out of a game onto your desktop the coil whine stops, but the second you go back in game it comes back again

This used one does have mild coil whine.

Coil whine is through the roof, gigabyte seems to refuse to get back to me on why this is the case with this expensive card

But the massive price spike and the dreaded talk of this "coil whine" this card makes has completely turned me off to this product

This card is a very good value, runs very cool with the stock air cooler, and if audible coil whine won't bug you too much, I highly recommend it

It is able to overclock very well; I am able to achieve +100 on the core and +300 on the memory and the temperature hasn't exceeded 63°C while gaming
