Like I said, its a bit on the expensive side, but when you take into account how many shaves each blade will give before wearing out, its not that much more expensive than the $1 razors you can buy at your local grocery store; each Proglide razor blade lasts me at least 4 shaves, as opposed to the $1 razors that will last me no more than 1 shave plus will take me longer and leave my skin burning from how many passes I have to make to get a close shave

Though a bit expensive, Proglide razor blades are superior to all others in regards to the close and comfortable shave it provides, how many shaves it can give before it has to be tossed out, and product ingenuity (5 blades to make the process quicker and more thorough, a microcomb for less annoying stubble, a trimmer on the back of the blade to make sharp lines, and an amazing long-lasting lubrastrip that actually makes the shave pleasant and painless)

I saw others mention in their own reviews that these blades weren't lasting long and was a bit skeptical about that, but it's true...these razor blades are not lasting as long as the same brand and type of blades I usually buy at my local pharmacy
