I have used this brand of scissors previously, and really like them.
So far as this specific brand and model, the quality is excellent
Highly recomend Ginghers over any currently available scissors youfind in big box stores and most specialty shops as well as on line.
I've already abused them somewhat more than I would have my old scissors (for fear of breaking them) and they still seem just as sharp as when I got them.
I would purchase this brand again and recommend to others
Just like everyone else here says, these things are SHARP
The handles are supposed to be "ergonomic" or something though, and when I'm cutting tougher things (like 8 layers of cotton), they sort of poke into my fingers, which is unpleasant, and, NOT FOR LEFTYS
I have smaller hands and this thing is just perfect for me...fits my hand, not too heavy, cuts like a dream
