There are two separate interfaces on the Router... a basic setup that will be fine for most users and an Advanced interface (you have to log in to it from the Basic interface) which lets you configure pretty much everything
If you install the package luci-app-qos it also installs the QoS subsystem with a nice interface
The GUI interface is clean, the directions simple and the performance is very good.

The GL.iNet team have done a fantastic job and the included software is excellent if that's what you're looking for
Especially since we can now download a OpenWRT image directly from openwrt.org that contains none of the vendors add-ons, and get a clean and mean software installation that can be customized to death
