Came in a very nice velvet lined compact case that does not look one bit as you would think for the price
The case is very durable for casual use with the occasional drop.

The rest of the flute is par for the cost, (even came with cotton cleaning gloves?

Based on so many positive reviews for this instrument, I thought it would be perfect piece for marching band.
I really wanted to love this piece, but it was even hard to like it
It was also really lightweight and did not feel like a real instrument to me, but I will admit It was a very beautiful piece, I will definitely give it 5 stars for looks.
