Another nice thing about them is, they keep the center of the flash on axis with the center of the modifier.

Only, only, only thing (not an "issue" per se) would be when you raise or lower it's position, it takes a good bit of force to do this

Same thing with other designs of brackets the tightening-screw to hold the umbrella will eventually dent the umbrella-rods.....

This one slows me down while working because the top fastener screw (that lowers the holder thing onto your speedlight) is not smooth or quick
